End-User Licence Agreement

This End-User Licence Agreement (the "EULA") is the licence under which you install and use the [fix]net desktop and web applications. It is an agreement between you and ePress Norden AB ("ePress"), the Swedish company behind [fix]net. The network services that need an account — sync, sharing, and the Store — are governed separately by the Terms of Service.

Your licence

ePress grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the [fix]net app. The licence is per person and covers all of your own machines — the same individual, signed in across their desktop and the web edition. You may not sell, rent, or sublicense the app itself. Your own graphs, data, and exports are yours and are not restricted by this licence.

What stays local, always

The local app does not depend on an account, a subscription, or our network services, and it never will. As a term of this licence, the following always work on your own machine — with no account and no payment — and they survive any termination of your account or of our network services:

  • The full local app: unlimited nodes, graphs, and local persistence.
  • Exporting everything you make — your files, your deployable code, and archives — at any time.
  • Running local MCP servers, plugins, and orchestration on your own machine.
  • Receiving app updates on the stable and beta channels.
  • Bringing your own AI keys (the LLM bridge), free of charge.

If [fix]net's network services ever change or end, these local capabilities keep working. This promise mirrors the features marked as never gated in our published plan terms and restated in our Fair-change Policy.

Updates

The app updates itself on the channel you choose, stable or beta. An update may sometimes be required to stay compatible with the network services — for example, after a change to the sync protocol. An update is never required to keep using the local capabilities above; those keep working on the version you already have.

Reverse engineering

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent that this restriction is prohibited by law. In particular, EU law gives you the right to decompile for interoperability under Article 6 of the Software Directive (Directive 2009/24/EC); nothing in this EULA limits that right, and you do not need our permission to exercise it.

Third-party components

The app includes third-party open-source components, each under its own licence. A notices listing for those components is provided with the app. The components' licences govern their own use and are not changed by this EULA.

No warranty and liability

The app is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law; ePress does not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ePress's liability arising from your use of the app is limited. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that Swedish or EU consumer law does not permit us to exclude — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, liability for fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

This licence is governed by Swedish law, without limiting the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence in the EU.
